Capital Decisions implements projects - acquiring land (if needed), rezoning/subdividing land, hiring and managing architectural/engineering consultants, securing construction/term financing and hiring the construction contractor. This work can sometimes be accomplished efficiently using for-profit affiliates to implement plans and allow the non-profit/charitable owner to fully capture the true value of under-utilized land/assets. Gary has the experience and knowledge to implement projects - sometimes working as interim Executive Director or Project Director to plan and launch initiatives. Gary has extensive experience supporting executive teams, Directors of Capital Assets, and project boards/committees.
Currently working as the interim Executive Director of UFV Properties Trust to plan and launch this new venture. Supporting all aspects the planning and development of non-core land assets. Have also supported UFV with multiple other projects including financing a new student union building. Some projects combined both for-profit and non-profit elements, all in compliance with required regulations.

During the credit crisis Gary was a Vice President at E&Y managing Western Canadian Real Estate matters.
Gary was the Director of Project Financing during the aggressive growth phase of Intrawest - raising over $550-million in funding for projects across North America. Gary also managed divestment of non-core assets.
